This has to be one of the silliest yet one of the most favourite things to experiment with!
Simply LEGO COLOUR FLIPPING is exactly that, flipping colours or substituting colours in other sets to fit the theme you are going with!

(Want to go straight to the LEGO COLOUR FLIPPING Section? Click HERE…)
My theme is Classic Space and the colour scheme I use is the traditional; Blue, Light Grey and Trans-Yellow.
Because the Classic Space Theme has more colours than the three above (like Black, White, Yellow and a few other Trans colours) these extra colours can help expand your theme.
Sometimes it is these hidden pieces and colours that make all the difference in texture, look and feel.
NEO CLASSIC SPACE is the art of recreating the Classic Space theme but using new parts, new colours and new techniques to add more detail.
(Want more on this? Head to NEO CLASSIC SPACE and make sure you check out the ‘rules’ section as this helps with creative license).
My one piece of ADVICE is to stick to a few colours that really highlight or showcase the original theme.
AN EXAMPLE of the biggest and longest LEGO COLOUR FLIPPING experiment I have undertaken thus far is the:
CLASSIC SPACE DEATH STAR!

And here is my take on the Death Star but in a Classic Space feel!

The CLASSIC SPACE DEATH STAR is made up with original Classic Space colours (Blue, Light Grey and Trans-Yellow).
I have tinkered with the NEO CLASSIC SPACE idea and here are ‘some’ of the results!

I have also LEGO COLOUR FLIPPED an X-Wing, The Millennium Falcon, Vaders Tie Fighter, an AT-ST and I re created the Trench Run for a Lego Show in July 2018 (see below).
